Important Note.
The 19th century New Lanark community was the brainchild of Robert Owen an industrialist and philanthropist. He attempted to create a caring community modelled in part upon Plato's philosophy amongst others. It is referred to as an earthly attempt to build a Utopia. Please investigate the site to appreciate the "link" with the Reality of Covenance which relates to Current Issue No 12 sections 6a and 6b on this website.
The first screen which appears on the "New Lanark" website is entitled "The Christmas Experience. Please "click on" past this screen using the large black "right" arrow at the bottom right hand corner of this first screen. This takes us to "The Annie MacLeod Experience".
The bigger picture is revealed by the use of the navigation bar across the top of the screen. In particular select all the pop down menu items listed under both "About Us" and "Education". Robert Owen is featured under "About Us".
